Trump found liable in civil trial

Former president Donald Trump ws found liable of battery and defamation of writer E. Jean Carroll. Carroll had claimed that Trump raped her in a Manhattan department store. A jury rejected that charge, but awarded her $5 million for the claims of defamation and sexual battery.
