Emotions run high at Banko Brown memorial service in San Francisco
Emotions ran high as Banko Brown was laid to rest at a San Francisco memorial service on Thursday. Family members nearly came to blows at Third Baptist Church. Rev. Amos Brown said the raw emotion was a symptom that mirrors the Black experience in San Francisco. Brown was shot and killed by a Walgreens security guard last month. The state attorney general is taking on the case after D.A. Brooke Jenkins decided not to file charges against the guard.
