CHP investigating incident that led to Bay Bridge backup

Evidence markers are present at the scene of a traffic backup along the eastbound lanes of the Bay Bridge I-80 near the Toll Plaza. California Highway Patrol issued a severe traffic alert, but have not officially said what the investigation entailed.
