World Heart Day: Identifying early cardiovascular disease
As millions of kids resume their fall sports routines, many of them are unknowingly at risk for heart disease. Cardiovascular disease, both congenital and acquired, affects tens of thousands of babies, young children and teens every year. Left undiagnosed, it prevents the possibility of early intervention and treatment. KTVU's Heather Holmes speaks with Kinnari Patel, President and COO of Rocket Pharmaceuticals, about identifying heart issues that may otherwise go unnoticed.
