SF Public Library fights censorship, celebrates 'Banned Book Week'

The trend across the country of books being removed from shelves at libraries and schools is being combatted here in the Bay Area. San Francisco Public Library is celebrating 'Banned Book Week' with a series of events designed to raise awareness about these challenged books that are mostly written by or focused on people of color, or members of the LGBTQ+ community.
