Breast Cancer Awareness Month: early detection and prevention

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women in the United States and the second-leading cause of death. Regular mammograms greatly increase the chance of detecting breast cancer early, when it is easier to treat and survival rates are the highest. KTVU's Heather Holmes speaks with Dr. Seema Sidhu, OBGYN at Kaiser Permanente Fremont Medical Center about the best screening practices to determine your individual risk and stay healthy.
