The White House says contingency planning is underway to potentially evacuate Americans from the Middle East, beyond the charter flights that began operating earlier this month out of Israel. There is growing concern that the Israel-Hamas war will escalate, as Hamas still holds more than 200 hostages and Israel plans a ground invasion of Gaza.
