Burst in volcanic activity across the globe

According to the Smithsonian's Global Volcanism Program, 19 different volcanos are erupting across the world right now at the same time. From Mexico to Japan to Italy, we've seen a recent burst in volcanic activity. In Iceland, evacuations have been ordered in the southwestern part of the country as officials are warning a volcano there could erupt in the next few days. Hundreds of small earthquakes have rattled that part of Iceland this week, signaling a looming eruption. KTVU's Alex Savidge speaks with Dr. Andrew Calvert, Scientist-in-Charge at the California Volcano Observatory in Menlo Park about the rise in seismic activity.
