Berkeley City Council drops Gaza ceasefire resolution at contentious meeting

Calls for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza are once again growing. On Tuesday, the United Nations General Assembly voted overwhelmingly to demand a humanitarian ceasefire. Berkeley City Council was set to vote on a similar resolution, but it was eventually dropped at Tuesday night's meeting.
