One-on-one with Interim Mayor of Oakland

A series of political twists and turns has landed a first time Oakland City Council member in the mayor's office in the next few months. Kevin Jenkins went from representing East Oakland to leading a city that's long struggled to curb violent crime, uplift its businesses, and consistently provide basic services.
