Iconic Peninsula lighthouse being restored for possible visits

To preserve the California maritime history that the Pigeon Point lighthouse is associated with, a $19 million-dollar project is underway to restore it, and if all goes to plan, visitors will be able to go inside the lighthouse next summer.
