Controversial proposal for a 150-bed homeless shelter in Oakland Chinatown no longer moving forward

The nonprofit behind the proposal told KTVU on Wednesday that the proposal to convert a Courtyard Marriott in Oakland Chinatown will no longer move forward. Chinese community members expressed strong opposition to this project.
