DoorDash launches emergency food response amid government shutdown

As the federal government shutdown continues, DoorDash is stepping in to help SNAP recipients through an emergency food response program. The company will deliver one million free meals through more than 300 Project DASH food bank partners. DoorDash will also waive delivery and service fees for about 30,000 grocery orders and donate food from its DashMart stores to local food banks.
