Food banks see long lines amid mixed messages over SNAP funding

The wife of a government employee said she went to an Oakland food pantry for the first time, after her child's school sent a list to all families showing food assistance pantries in the community. Many families are suffering as SNAP debit cards remained empty and some federal workers have now gone 35 days without a paycheck.
