Oakland Police seek to expand license-plate reader camera network

The Oakland Police department wants approval from the Oakland City Council to expand its Flock camera system of license-plate readers. Some critics however, are skeptical of the Flock company after the Illinois Secretary of State announced last August that his office discovered the U.S. Border Patrol had accessed Illinois Flack data.
