BAY AREA: BART fixing Transbay Tube problem that leads to fewer, more crowded trains

BART is fixing a mysterious power surge problem in the Transbay Tube that's resulted in 80 cars being knocked out of service. Riders may have noticed fewer and more crowded trains, but the transit system hasn't yet figured out the root cause of the problem, a spokesman for the transit agency said on Friday.
