Man robbed after getting in car he thought was his Uber ride

Police are calling it an isolated incident where a passenger hailed an Uber ride and did not confirm the identity of the driver before getting in. The victim was robbed by a pair in a crime of opportunity who were not posing as Uber or Lyft drivers according to police.
