Pro-rent control 'Yes on Prop. 10' rallies held in SF, Oakland this week

California voters have a big decision to make about rent control in the November election. Ads for and against Proposition 10 are hitting the airwaves. The proposition would repeal the current statewide Costa Hawkins law that states properties built after 1995 are typically not subject to rent control. The proposition would give cities and counties the freedom to enact rent control no matter the age of buildings.
