Dueling rallies over proposed Mission District housing development

It's been labeled 'Monster in the Mission' by critics who fear another round of gentrification in what has been a largely Latino population in San Francisco, but proponents who rallied at City Hall Thursday say in a housing crunch, the development offers affordable units. A public hearing on the matter was cancelled.
