SFMTA allows shared scooter companies to expand provided they serve low-income users

San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency gave shared scooter companies like Skip and Scoot the clearance to grow on Tuesday. But data from the pilot program study shows the majority of their riders are white males who earn more than $100,000 annually. Going forward the companies will have to provide a certain amount for low-income and under served clientele. KTVU's Tom Vacar reports.
