1st suit of its kind: California failing to meet needs of students, teachers during pandemic

Black and Latinx students from low-income families are being deprived of their fundamental right to a free and equal education guaranteed by the California Constitution as a result of distance learning, according to seven families who filed an unprecedented lawsuit over what they describe as the unfair nature of distance learning.
