San Francisco man explains how AAPI hate has impacted his daily routine

A recent study by the center of hate and extremism found hate crimes on Asian and Asian Americans rose 149% in 2020, and sadly that trend has continued into 2021. KTVU's Frank Mallicoat sat down and spoke with San Francisco resident Alek Chainam who say's he's now hyper aware of the recent attacks - and because of that, he's changed many of his daily routines.
