Moving beyond COVID-19 will require more Americans getting the vaccine

As the pace of vaccinations has slowed considerably in the US, the White House was unable to meet the goal of vaccinating 70% of eligible Americans by July 4th. Additionally, the CDC has issued a warning to Pfizer and Moderna vaccines because of a rare risk of heart inflammation in young people who got the shot. KTVU's Alex Savidge talks with Dr. Vanila Singh, a Stanford Professor and former Chief Medical Officer at the Department of Health and Human Services, about where we stand in the effort to move beyond COVID-19.
