South Lake Tahoe evacuation orders lifted

Mandatory evacuation orders near South Lake Tahoe have been downgraded to warnings as officials say the threat posed by the Caldor Fire is no longer as serious near Lake Tahoe. That change allowed residents to begin returning over Labor Day.
