Confrontation over dine and dash leads to gunfire at Walnut Creek restaurant

A suspect in a "dine and dash" at a downtown Walnut Creek restaurant opened fire after being confronted - and paying the bill, authorities said Monday. The incident happened Sunday evening outside Modern China Cafe on North Main Street near Lincoln Avenue.
