Pushback on plan to make hotel for homeless permanent in SF Japantown

Hundreds of people spoke out Wednesday during a virtual meeting to push back against the plan to house homeless people at a Japantown hotel permanently. The Kimpton Hotel Buchanan was used as a hotel for the homeless during the pandemic. The city now wants to buy the hotel to continue doing so.
