Gov. Newsom signs police reform bills into law

As he signed police reform bills into law, Governor Newsom said there's still a lot of work that needs to be done. The package of bills aimed at accountability and transparency notably includes a decertification process so officers with serious misconduct records can't get hired at other departments.
