Water main break in Alamo leaves customers without service

A ruptured water pipe in Alamo sent water gushing into the streets for several hours, caused schools to shut down and flooded an intersection. On Friday afternoon, hundreds of customers were still without water service. East Bay MUD is working on repairs.
