Warmer Wednesday

A shallow marine layer will keep the coast near seasonal averages through Wednesday, while inland areas experience warm, dry conditions with temperatures 10–12°F above average. Breezy onshore winds of 20–35 mph are expected along the coast and in valleys, with near-critical fire weather conditions persisting above 1,000 feet through Thursday. Coastal areas will see nightly stratus clearing by midday, and a significant pattern change with cooler temperatures and tropical moisture is expected by the weekend.  No formal watches or warnings are currently in effect, except a Small Craft Advisory inside and outside the Gate until Thursday 9AM with stiff Northwest winds to 30 Knots.
