Meta violated consumer protection laws, jury finds | West Coast Wrap

A landmark decision came out of New Mexico on Tuesday, where a judge ruled Meta, the parent company of Facebook violated consumer protection laws. The ruling says the company violated the state's unfair practices act in regards to what it knew about child exploitation dangers on its platforms.
