Police update on officer involved shooting at Fremont senior living facility

Sergeant Cooper Mauldin of the Fremont Police Department on Friday evening gave an update on what happened at a senior living facility in the city earlier in the day. Mauldin reported that an individual with a firearm and a duffle bag had entered the facility and held two people hostage before being shot and killed. The incident is being investigated by the California Department of Justice.
