Hold onto your sunscreen, not your hats through Thursday!

A slight hint of low clouds will develop right around sunrise on Wednesday morning. The howling winds from over the weekend have finally left the building, but they left behind some very dry, warm air. We are looking at a split week: hot and bone-dry through Thursday, followed by a refreshing weekend cooldown as our coastal fog makes a big comeback. For Wednesday, cooler at the Coast in the 60s, expect 70s & low 80s Bayside to 80 and low 90s Inland. Winds will blow out of the west and northwest to 15 mph. Grasses, Pine, Oak and Juniper are the main culprits for allergy sufferers! Fire Danger Elevated: This is the main concern right now. It is critically dry inland. Daytime humidity levels are dropping into the 10% to 20% range and it is barely recovering at night. Because grass and brush are so dry, please use extreme caution with any outdoor sparks or flames.
