SFMOMA debuting historic solo exhibition by incarcerated artist

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is making history with the opening of a solo exhibition by Orlando "O. Smith" Smith, the first currently incarcerated visual artist to receive a solo show at the museum. Smith has spent more than 25 years creating art while incarcerated at San Quentin, producing graphic novels, illustrations and journalism that explore democracy, incarceration, human rights and social justice.
