Castro Valley 'hoarder' house explodes in fire

A residential fire along Queen Street in Castro Valley forced evacuations and left one firefighter with minor injuries. Authorities described the origin of the blaze as a "hoarder house," and neighbors reported hearing several explosions as the flames spread to two adjacent structures. Six residents, three dogs, and a cat were displaced by the fire.
