Uber testing robotaxi service in San Francisco

Uber is testing its new robotaxis around San Francisco. The rideshare company is branching out to autonomous-vehicle territory through a partnership with two other companies, one based in Mountain View. Right now Uber vehicles can hail a test ride through the app, but a safety driver will be present until testing is completed.
