DACA renewal delays leaving immigrants in limbo

Every two years, DACA recipients must renew their protected status. But many say applications that once took weeks are now taking months, leaving recipients vulnerable to losing their jobs, driver’s licenses, and temporary legal protections before new approvals arrive.
