Partly cloudy and unseasonably mild today

Happy Friday! It’s a cloudy, cool locally drizzly start to Friday, with the marine layer reaching farther inland. Look for low cloud clearing late morning into the afternoon, with high level clouds remaining for the entire day.  The weekend warms slightly, with morning clouds followed by afternoon sunshine and temperatures near average. Onshore winds will remain breezy at times, especially near the coast and through the gaps. Meanwhile, Tropical Depression Two-C, currently southeast of Hawaii, is forecast to track generally westward toward and south of the islands; while it poses no direct threat to Hawaii, heavy rain, wind, and rough surf.
