Psychedelic therapy may not outperform antidepressants, new study finds
Psychedelic treatments, such as LSD and psilocybin, have been hailed as breakthrough options for depression. However, new research suggests they may not be more effective than traditional antidepressants. A study from researchers at UCSF found the drugs work about the same as standard treatments, not better.
