Using AI to detect whales in San Francisco Bay

Researchers launched WhaleSpotter this week; a new technology that uses artificial intelligence to spot whales in the San Francisco Bay, in an effort to combat a recent spike in whale deaths across the state. Dr. Dan Zitterbart, co-founder of the technology, joined KTVU to talk about the effort.
