Around the Bays: Comfortable and breezy with highs in the 60s to 70s. Inland Valleys: Warming rapidly into the 80s to mid-90s. I am forecasting 100 degrees from Discovery Bay and Brentwood to Fairfield on Monday. Expect 90s Inland for two weeks. Interior Hotspots: The absolute warmest interior locations of Monterey and San Benito counties have a greater than 60% probability of cracking 100°F Nightly Inversion: While lower elevations drop into the cool 50s overnight, the building ridge will trap heat in our higher elevations and mountain peaks, keeping thermal hillsides stuck in the warm 60s and low 70s.
