Santa Rosa school district settles for $6.25M in deadly stabbing

Santa Rosa City Schools has agreed to pay $6.25 million over a deadly stabbing at Montgomery High School. The payout will be divided between the family of the boy who was killed and the family of the boy who killed him in what was determined to be an act of self-defense.
