2-alarm fire in San Leandro
2-alarm fire on Cheshire Court near San Leandro High School.
SAN LEANDRO, Calif. - A two-alarm fire broke out Monday morning at a San Leandro townhome.
The fire was reported about 5 a.m. on Cheshire Court, west of San Leandro High School.
Alameda County Fire Battalion Chief Randall West said the people inside were able to escape, though one person suffering from smoke inhalation was taken to the hospital.
Investigators will now try to determine what caused the fire.
