OAKLAND, Calif. - A new analysis shows that the cost of living in two Bay Area cities is among the highest in the country.
Manhattan came in first for the cost-of-living index by the Council for Community and Economic Research, followed by Honolulu.
San Jose came in third and San Francisco was fourth.
The index considers expenses such as housing, utilities, groceries, transportation, and health care.
