Active police standoff in Benicia, man threatening to harm relative
BENICIA, Calif. (BCN) - Benicia police said negotiations are continuing Thursday evening with a person who said they are armed and may hurt someone who lives with them.
At about 3 p.m. police received a call from the person who made the claims from a home in the 300 block of East H Street.
Streets in the area have been closed, some neighbors have been evacuated and others are sheltering in place.
Just before 8 p.m., police spokeswoman Irma Widjojo said that no injuries have been reported.
