Fire at homeless encampment

A fire broke out at a homeless encampment at E. 12th Street and 16th Avenue in Oakland.

OAKLAND, Calif. - A fire broke out Tuesday morning at a homeless encampment in Oakland at E. 12 Street and 16th Avenue.

No injuries reported from the fire.

Along with drivers slowing down on Interstate Highway 880 nearby, BART trains were delayed for up to 10 minutes as well.
