Hero bus driver saves students from burning bus

A school bus driver in Maryland  is being hailed a hero, after she put her own life on the line to save nearly two dozen kids.

Renita Smith, is being credited with helping evacuate 20 elementary school students, after her school bus caught fire in College Park on Monday.

Dashcam video from the fire department shows just how intense the flames were.

Smith, who is a mother of two, credits her parental instincts for her actions.

Smith says, "my biggest reward is my babies are safe. Because whenever I'm driving any school, they're my children until I drop them off to their biological parents."

No one was hurt.

Investigators are still trying to figure out how the fire started.
