North Bay resident has moved 6 times since Tubbs Fire
Healdsburg resident Matt Ceglarski-Sherwin said he has moved six times since the Tubbs Fire of 2017. On Thursday, he had been evacuated to the Healdsburg Community Center because of the Kincade Fire. Allie Rasmus reports
Geyserville , Calif. (KTVU) - As the Kincade Fire grows and the firefight continues, 2,000 residents in Geyserville remain under an evacuation order.
Evacuations were issued for the community of Geyserville and the area east of Geyserville. An evacuation warning is still in effect for the unincorporated area north of Healdsburg.
Fire officials instructed for residents to leave the town immediately. By Thursday evening, the 16,000-acre fire was 5% contained. It had earlier crossed Highway 128 near Moody Lane and headed west, authorities said. 49 structures have been destroyed. There were no injuries.

All roads east of Highway 28 from Cloverdale to Healdsburg were closed due to the fire. California Highway Patrol said there was no threat to U.S. Highway 101.

Flames erupt in Geyserville near ranches, wineries
The Kincade Fire in northeast Sonoma County exploded to 10,000 acres morning as it continued to burn out-of-control in a westerly direction and was zero percent contained. It's burning near Stella Vineyards and Wine Caves, the Truett Hurst and the Francis Ford Coppola Winery.

Cloverdale Unified and Healdsburg Unified school districts have closed all schools because of the shifting winds and the fire threat to their communities. Full list of school closures here. The Bay Area Air Quality Management District has issued a Spare the Air alert because of heavy smoke from the fire.

Residents flee Kincade Fire
With a raging wildfire threatening homes and lives, the entire community of Geyserville in the heart of Wine Country evacuated early Thursday morning, forcing people to rush out of bed and grab anything they could as they fled to safety. Allie Rasmus
