Police search for missing Stockton girl

Stockton police say an 11-year-old girl has returned home and is safe after going missing Tuesday morning. 

According to Stockton Police Elianah Nhem was last seen at her apartment in the 3800 block of North Alvarado Street around 6:30 a.m., but the girl was said to be back home as of Wednesday around 8 p.m. 

Elianah's mom believes her daughter left the apartment to walk to school, but she never arrived. 

According to police, she was last seen wearing a long sleeve black crop top, dark jeans rolled up on the bottom (capri length), white Adidas tennis shoes and pink backpack. Her hair is shoulder length. She may have a gray sweater with her. She does not have a cell phone.
