HAYWARD, Calif. - Roughly a dozen potholes appeared in the slow lane on Tuesday on state Route 92 approaching the San Mateo Bridge, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The potholes, exacerbated by the rain, were spotted in the westbound direction at the Clawiter Road interchange.
Storms slammed the Bay Area on Monday and more rain and thunderstorms are expected for Tuesday.
