Question of the Day
Cal State University is dropping a requirement that students take algebra to complete their degrees.
Right now, students who don’t major in math or science, still have to fulfill a math requirement with intermediate algebra as a prerequisite.
Starting in the fall of 2018, students will still have to complete a math requirement, but won't have to take algebra. The change is meant to increase graduation rates across the CSU system.
